The Transitway reopened on Sunday evening, just days after the fatal crash at Westboro station.
Three people were killed, 23 others injured when Route 269 drove up on the platform, shearing off the right top-side of the double decked bus.
The mayor announced the reopening of the Transitway on Sunday:
There is also an area set up for memorials.The Transitway and all stations will reopen at 7:30 pm this evening. OC Transpo staff will be on-site tonight and tomorrow to assist customers. Public Health staff will also be on hand to help riders dealing with any mental health situations arising from Friday’s accident.

I encourage residents who wish to pay tribute and honour the victims and those affected by the tragic Westboro bus collision to sign the Book of Condolences in Jean Pigott at City Hall from noon on Monday, January 14 to end of day Sunday, January 20.
