Alcohol suspected factor in rollover near Hwy 17

A 42-year-old man from Deep River is in hospital with serious injuries after a car rolled near the Trans Canada Highway in Whitewater Region.
Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the crash around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday on Greenwood Road.
Police said a four-door passenger vehicle was eastbound on Greenwood Road when it left the roadway and rolled onto its roof.
Prior to crashing, the vehicle had left the roadway near the intersection of Beachburg Road and Greenwood Road.
Aside from the 42-year-old, there was no one else in the vehicle.
A section of Greenwood Road was closed for several hours on Sunday.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation members are assisting with the investigation.
Police suspect alcohol was a factor in the collision and the incident remains under investigation.
