Driver dead, passenger air-lifted following single car crash in North Frontenac Township

Frontenac OPP are investigating a fatal collision that happened in North Frontenac Township.

Police say they responded to a single vehicle in the ditch on County Road 509 on Friday just after 5:30 p.m.

The 22-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger was air-lifted to hospital by ORNGE in serious condition.

OPP continue to investigate.

The road remains closed at Canonto Road.
