The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit arrested a 67-year-old man on Thursday morning, charging him with five counts of Gross Indecency, stemming from incidents with two alleged victims.

The two young boys were scout members at the time of the reported incidents.

Donald Sullivan was charged with similar offences in late-July, his alleged victims were 8 and 9 years old in 1977.

Police opened the investigation into Sullivan in December 2017 and have been looking into the years that he was a Scout Leader (1972 - 1977) at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Alta Vista Road.

Officers are also looking to speak any other potential victims that may have had contact with him in the years since.

Anyone with information can contact the Ottawa Police tip line at 613-236-1222 ext. 5760.
