Innes Road Jail beating leads to attempted murder charges

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after an attack at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre.

On April 11, police said a 36-year-old man was brutally assaulted and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

He remains in hospital in serious condition.

Mohamed Barkhadle, 32, Pierre Senatus, 22, and Jimmy St. Hiliare, 19, have each been charged with attempted murder.

The are all set to appear in court on Wednesday.
