Ottawa police searching for missing teen, last seen in South Keys area

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's help in locating Kilal Taha, 18, of Ottawa. 

Officials say his family is concerned for his safety. 

Taha was last seen Monday morning at 7:30 a.m., leaving for work in his vehicle, described as a 2006 black Ford Focus hatchback. 

His vehicle was located by police, southbound on the Airport Parkway by the Walkley Road exit, at approximately 9:20 a.m.. The engine was still running. 

Taha is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5' 10'' (178 cm), with a slender build and short dark hair. 

The teen was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey construction coat and brown boots. 

Anyone who may have seen the vehicle or Taha in the area of Hunt Club Road and the Airport Parkway between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., Monday, or has any other information is asked to contact Ottawa Police Major Crime Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493.
