An Ottawa man is facing charges after an investigation into two incidents, which police say happened more than 30 years ago.
The Ottawa Police Service's Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit is calling it a “historical investigation.”
The victims were 8 and 9-year-old boys when they came into contact with the accused, back in 1977.
They came to the police in December of 2017.
Donald Sullivan, 67, has since been charged with six counts of gross indecency.
Police say he was a Scout Leader from 1972 to 1977 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Alta Vista Road.
Investigators believe there could be more victims in incidents which could date anywhere between 1972 and 2018, and are urging those victims to speak up.
