Students taking “park and ride” spots at Baseline

Some parking pass holders for the Baseline park and ride say students from Algonquin College are parking in their spots.
Pass-holders are suppose to be guaranteed a spot after they pay the monthly fee of $21, but with so many students parking in the park and ride lot, on many days it is full, causing people to park illegally.
OC Transpo has investigated and says it found no specific problem. Algonquin students say the semester fee of between $280 and $400 is too expensive, so they park in the bus lot instead.
