Voter turnout high in Ottawa

Voter turnout in Ottawa was above above the national average for Monday’s federal election.
In Ottawa there was a 68.3 percent turnout, well above the 61 percent national average.
Ottawa Centre had the highest turnout with 75 percent, followed by Ottawa Orleans and Ottawa West Nepean.
Ottawa Centre had the fourth highest turnout in the country, behind two Prince Edward Island ridings and the B.C. riding that went to Green Party leader Elizabeth May.
