Barrhaven fire causes $450,000 in damages

More than 40 fire fighters and 16 rigs rushed to the scene of a fire in Barrhaven Sunday.

The kitchen fire broke out just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at a two story home on 78 Knowlton Drive. That’s near Prince of Wales and Crestway.

Damage is pegged at $450,000.

No injuries were reported.
