The quick-thinking parents of a Stittsville toddler may have saved his life after he was found blue and not breathing in their family pool.
Ottawa paramedics say the two-year-old’s parents hadn’t seen him for a few minutes and went looking for him. After they spotted him, they took him out of the pool and immediately began CPR while calling 911.
The boy was revived and breathing on his own by the time paramedics arrived. The tot was rushed to CHEO where he is listed in stable condition.
