Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Ottawa, Gatineau and surrounding areas.

A thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Low and Wakefield area.

The main threats with these thunderstorms are damaging winds, heavy downpours, hail, and intense frequent lightning.
