Legislation required to avoid a first-ever default on America’s financial obligations remains in limbo as an impasse drags into the weekend.
Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, U-S President Barack Obama is warning there is little time left, but adds, “there are plenty ways out of this mess.”
Among those worried about a possible default are members of the U-S armed forces, many of whom live paycheque to paycheque.
