CP Holiday Train journey ends successfully

The CP Holiday Train has ended it’s journey, raising $800,000 and 250-million pounds of food.

The longest food drive in Canada and the United States finished it’s journey in Vancouver Saturday.

This year’s trains featured entertainment by Valdy, Tracey Brown and Brothers Dube.

Two trains visited 150 communities in both countries chugging through six provinces and eight states.

One train visited the Smiths Falls train museum November 27th.

Since 1999 the CP Holiday train has helped raise $5.6-million.

Everything collected stayed within the local communities.
