Arrest made in “pants-pulling” sexual assaults

OTTAWA, On. — A 25-year-old Ottawa man has been arrested in connection to a series of brazen sexual assaults over the last several weeks.

Gavin Sean Griffiths has been charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of mischief and one count of breach of probation in connection to the April 16 assault on Loretta Street and Young Street.

Police say more charges will be laid in connection to the rash of attacks that happened across Ottawa between April 14 and May 7.
