Police identify body pulled from Ottawa River

HULL – Gatineau Police say the body pulled from the Ottawa River Sunday was that of a 24-year-old man, who was missing since April 1st.

Dominic Laverdure-Gosselin’s car was found parked in the north-bound lane of the Alexandra bridge at 2:15 that morning.

Surete du Quebec divers scoured the river, but eventually had to call off the search when they could not find him

A passerby spotted his body near the Leblanc marina on Hurtubise Boulevard and called police.
