A tell-tale sign Christmas is right around the corner: Walmart is now open 24 hours.
Walmart Canada confirmed on Friday it will continue the tradition of keeping about half of its stores open across the country open 24 hours a day from now through Christmas eve.
Walmart announced that it will operate 200 of its 373 stores nationwide around the clock in December.
The move has proven popular with shoppers who do shift-work who want to stock up on items before the holidays or browse for gifts.
The tradition is also starting one week later than it did last year.
In recent years, Walmart Canada has offered 24-hour shopping during the Christmas shopping period and are telling their customers to confirm exact locations and schedules at Walmart.ca.
