Cause of fire at Cheshire Cat Pub undetermined

CARP, Ont. – The cause of a fire that destroyed the popular Cheshire Cat Pub is undetermined.
Ottawa Fire Services have now received a report from the fire investigator who attended the scene at 2193 Richardson Side Rd.
The report did say the blaze was consistent with being the result of an electrical fire in the north east area of the bar.
On January 28, the popular pub in Carp was completely destroyed by the fire that caused $700,000 in damage. Owner Dustin Therrien told 1310News he is hoping they can start reconstruction in the spring.
