OTTAWA – Police are following up on several tips and leads into the fatal hit-and-run of Michael Morlang, 30.
The iron worker was struck and killed by a car on the eve of his 31st birthday on Frank Kenny Road, near Navan, early Sunday morning.
Police continue to urge the driver to come forward; saying whoever struck Morlang would have significant damage to the front end of their car.
Police say the vehicle was headed north but are unsure what type of vehicle they’re looking for. They are working with collision investigators to piece together what happened.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
Meantime, a funeral was held for Morlang Thursday at the Chapel of Good Hope on Bank Street.
