No injuries in west-end microwave fire

OTTAWA – One woman has been displaced by a fire in Ottawa’s west end.

Crews were called to 1320 Richmond Rd. around 12:45 a.m. Monday where a microwave had caught fire.

Damage is pegged at $10,000, and the Red Cross and Salvation Army have been called in to help occupant.

There were no injuries.
