Fire destroys RV in Munster

OTTAWA — Firefighters have doused an early-morning motorhome fire, outside a home in Munster.

The fire started around 4:45 a.m., on Whisperwood Street.

Ottawa Fire says the motorhome had a trailer, with a few go-carts on it. A nearby van also caught fire, but the fire did not spread to the house.

No one was hurt. Damage has been estimated around $40,000.

An investigator has been called to the scene to determine why the fire started.
