Warning issued as back to school approaches

OTTAWA — As students get set to return to school, Ottawa Public Health and the Overdose Prevention Task Force are putting out a stark reminder of a very real threat.
The groups are reminding students to be aware of the risks associated with drug and alcohol overdoses during Frosh Week activities.
They warn that the misuse of drugs and alcohol can lead to increased violence, injuries and overdoses.
Cases of reported sexual assaults also increase during orientation week.
Students are encouraged to know their limits.
