Dive teams comb Ottawa River for missing boater

OTTAWA — Dive teams were out again on Monday searching for a boater missing since Saturday afternoon on the Ottawa river.
Stephen Cozette, 57, was last seen on his boat between Ottawa and Gatineau around 1 p.m., Saturday.
His boat was then found drifting unoccupied three hours later near Constance Bay.
A close friend of Cozette told 1310 NEWS he was a skilled boater who had sailed across the Pacific Ocean.
He said he last saw Cozette Friday night when he was talking about his upcoming annual trip in his 35 ft. sailboat upstream to Quyon, Quebec.
Cozette is described as:
-white
-of Italian descent
-between 5’6″ and 5’7″ tall
-170 lbs.
-bald with short grey hair on the sides
-small scar above his right eyebrow
His boat is described as a 35 foot sailboat with three sails and a dull yellow-beige hull with mahogany wood trim.
