Man charged in August killing of man at Perth campground

PERTH, Ont.- A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder months after a man was killed at a Perth campground.

Police say James Laverdure, 45, was killed in August, at the Last Duel Park Campground in the eastern Ontario town of about 6,000 people.

His cause of death has not been released.

OPP say Andrew Kravchenko, 22 of Perth, is charged with second-degree murder, and will appear in court Monday.

Police are continuing their investigation, and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
