Gloucester-Southgate Councillor Diane Deans tells 1310 NEWS, while approval is expected, she still has some concerns.
Those concerns include a two and a half per cent fare hike every year for the next 32 years and the fact that taxpayers will be expected to pick up the $4 million annual cost of linking LRT to the Ottawa Airport.
The $3.6 billion LRT extension is set to be completed in 2023, while the official opening of Stage 1 is set for 2018.
