Arrest warrant for robbery suspect

OTTAWA – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man charged in a string of robberies — who appears to have flown the coop.
Nouradine Ahmed, 29, was charged last year in connection with four bank robberies and a hold up at a convenience store.
He was released from custody in January under court conditions that included where he was to stay.
Police found he’d breached those conditions, and he has not been seen for several weeks.
The arrest warrant is for breaking those court conditions.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this suspect, or any robbery, is asked to call the Ottawa Police’s Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
