67’s shut out by Spirit

SAGINAW, MI — The 67’s continue a three-game road trip, looking to bounce back from a 4-0 defeat in Saginaw.
Ottawa drops to 2-2-0 on the season with a loss against the Spirit, Friday night.
It was six minutes of hockey which sank the 67’s, as Saginaw scored two goals in three minutes in the first and bagged another pair in three minutes in the third.
Ottawa could not solve Spirit goalie Evan Cormier, who turned away 27 shots on the night.
The longest road trip of the season continues for the 67’s Saturday night when they visit the Flint Firebirds at 7 p.m.
The team will then return to Canada, taking on the Sarnia Sting at 2 p.m., Sunday.
