One person killed in Hwy. 148 crash in the Pontiac

One person has been killed in a late-night collision between a car and a Hydro Quebec truck in the Pontiac.

The fatal collision happened on Highway 48, near Chemin Maple, around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the hydro truck wasn’t hurt, but the driver of the car was killed.

The highway was closed overnight, but has since reopened.
