QMJHL: Vincent Marleau helps Rouyn-Noranda Huskies top Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-2

BATHURST, N.B. — Vincent Marleau scored the go-ahead go 4:07 into the third period as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies held on to beat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-2 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Alex Beaucage and Peter Abbandonato also scored as the Huskies () earned back-to-back wins. Samuel Harvey made 13 saves for the win.

Ethan Crossman and Daniil Vertiy replied for the Titan (5-22-1), while Tyriq Outen stopped 41 shots in net.

Rouyn-Noranda could not score on its two power plays and Acadie-Bathurst went 1 for 2 on the man advantage.

VOLTIGEURS 10 ARMADA 3

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Gregor MacLeod had a hat trick as the Voltigeurs sank Blainville-Boisbriand.

Dawson Mercer had a pair of goals for Drummondville (20-6-1) and Joseph Veleno’s goal near the midway point of the first period was the eventual winner. Nicolas Guay, Xavier Simoneau, Maxime Comtois and Felix Lauzon also scored.

Joel Teasdale, Anthony Poulin and Alexander Katerinakis replied for the Armada (14-13-1).

MOOSEHEADS 4 OCEANIC 1

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Patrick Kyte’s first period goal stood as the winner as Halifax fended off the Oceanic.

Arnaud Durandeau, Joel Bishop and Ben Higgins also scored for the Mooseheads (19-7-1).

Jimmy Huntington scored for Rimouski (16-10-2).

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Samuel Poulin had a pair of goals as the Phoenix downed Victoriaville.

Felix Robert, Patrick Guay and Vincent Anctil rounded out the attack for Sherbrooke (16-10-2).

Egor Serdyuk scored for the Tigres (11-14-3).

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Zachary Lavigne and Vladislav Kotkov had two goals apiece as the Sagueneens sailed past Baie-Comeau.

Artemi Kniazev’s power-play winner came 18 seconds into the second period for Chicoutimi (12-9-7), while Michael Pellerin, Morgan Nauss and Jeremy Groleau also found the back of the net.

Yaroslav Alexeyev and Ivan Chekhovich scored for the Drakkar (19-8-2).

FOREURS-ISLANDERS (Postponed)

CHARLOTTETOWN — The game between the Val-d’Or Foreurs and Charlottetown Islanders was postponed due to poor ice conditions.
