Charges have been laid against a Kingston police officer who allegedly sexual assaulted a woman back in 2017.
Ontario's police watchdog says it began its investigation in November of last year, after a complaint was reported against the officer.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) looked into the complaint and, as a result of its findings, has charged Constable Shaun Trafford with sexual assault.
Trafford is set to appear in court on January 24th.
