Alabama is cancelling both of its Canadian concerts on their 50th anniversary tour.
That includes the band's July 19 date at TD Place Stadium in Ottawa and its July 20 appearance at the Big Sky Music Festival in Oro-Medonte.
Co-founder and lead vocalist Randy Owen is suffering from severe vertigo and migraines. TD Place said Thursday, he is currently under doctor's care and being treated.
“We hope to return to both Ottawa and Oro soon, and apologize to all of the fans for not being able to perform,” said a band spokesperson.
