Smith Falls man facing 55 additional charges in OPP fraud investigation

A man from Smiths Falls is facing additional charges after a third OPP fraud investigation. 

Mark Lee, 58, is already facing one count of fraud over $5,000, four counts of Uttering Forged Documents and one count of Personation with Intent to Gain Advantage after two separate investigations that took place in September and October of 2018.

Now, after a third investigation in September 2019, Lee is facing an additional 55 counts of Uttering Forged Documents and one count of Fraud Over $5,000.

The accused was released from custody on a Promise to Appear, with a scheduled court date for all 62 charges at the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on September 27, 2019.
