Lees Avenue on-ramp re-opens after six years

A Queensway on-ramp that was closed in 2013 has finally re-opened.

The Lees Avenue ramp to eastbound Highway 417 re-opened, Tuesday morning.

The ramp was closed in 2013, while MTO widened the Queensway. It remained closed while Transitway buses used the 417 until the full opening of the Confederation Line.

The onramp was scheduled to re-open last week, but the opening was delayed due to weather.
