Man, 32, charged in the death of 63-year-old woman in Kemptville

KEMPTVILLE, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say they have charged a 32-year-old North Grenville man with second-degree murder on Sunday. 

Police say the man was charged following the death of a 63-year-old Ottawa woman in Kemptville.

Officers responded to a 911 call at a home on County Road 18 in North Grenville after 9 p.m. Friday.

The woman was found deceased inside the home when police arrived, said the press release.

Police have identified the victim as Karen Gottschalk-Millar, of Ottawa.
