The Clarke family is selling its Junior A hockey franchise, the Carleton Place Canadians.

In a post to Twitter, around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, the Clarkes explain their decision to sell the team to Brent Sullivan, who will officially take over on May 1.

The Clarke family took ownership of the Carleton Place Junior B Legion Kings Hockey Club in 2006, and established the Junior A Canadians in 2009.
