Bowie’s Live Music Cafe and Bar in Smiths Falls temporarily closed after customer tests positive for COVID-19

Bowie's Live Music Cafe and Bar in Smiths Falls has temporarily shut its doors after owners were informed a customer tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a Facebook post from the restaurant, the Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit has not directed them to close but the owners feel they cannot ethically open their doors until they know for certain nobody will be put at risk.

The establishment has contacted the health unit for next steps.

Anyone who has who visited Bowie's over the weekend is being encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.
