CityNews Ottawa observes first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with dedicated show

Canada's first ever National Day for Truth and Reconciliation takes place Thursday, September 30, and CityNews will be broadcasting a special live show focused on Indigenous history and culture in Ottawa and the Valley, as well as Indigenous events and entrepreneurs, to mark the occasion.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation show on CityNews Ottawa will air live between 10 a.m. and noon, and then again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Later in the evening, Citytv will feature 'Runs Through Their Blood: A Life Impacted' — a documentary produced by the Weengushk Institute by Indigenous Youth.

The documentary will air Thursday, September 30, at 7 p.m. ET or 6 p.m. CST and you can stream it online at citytv.com.

CityNews Ottawa will run on a weekend schedule, Thursday, but will return to regular programming Friday, October 1.
