Those giant piles of snow from last Monday's 48-centimetre snowfall are on the way out.
City of Ottawa crews have begun removing the piles and high snowbanks to help maintain road width and access.
The work began on Sunday, January 23 and is expected to take multiple days. The city advises drivers to watch for temporary no parking signs on streets. Parking in temporary no parking zones may result in your vehicle being towed to an adjacent street.
The snow is on its way out!
Starting this evening, #OttCity teams will be working on planned snow removal to maintain road width and access.
Please always respect the temporary no parking signs and keep a safe distance while work is being done.
