The Champlain Bridge will be closed starting on Tuesday, August 16 for rehabilitation work.

In preparation for the work, the National Capital Commission (NCC) said the west lane of the bridge will be closed for three nights between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. but the bridge sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians.

Starting Wednesday, August 17, at 6 a.m., the east lane of the bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic for rehabilitation work on the bridge until November 2022.
