Boxes left on stove causes fire in Centretown apartment building

Boxes left on top of a stove caused a fire in a Centretown apartment building on Sept. 2.

Fire alarms started going off at around 12:45 p.m. in a building on Bell Street North, located south of Gladstone Avenue.

Ottawa firefighters were able to control the blaze within 30 minutes of arriving at the scene.

No injuries were reported.
