OPP officers charge driver with impaired driving after early morning collision on New Year’s Day

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Ottawa have charged a 26-year-old driver after an early morning collision in the city's west end on New Year's Day.
The OPP responded to the collision on Highway 417 near Terry Fox Drive early on Sunday, Jan. 1.
The driver refused to provide police with a breath sample, the OPP said in a tweet.
The driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle has been impounded.
