New tour takes travellers on one-day polar bear expedition

Adventure awaits many Canadians with the ‘Gold Star Canadian Tours’ one-day polar bear expedition.

Travellers will travel on a private charter jet from Ottawa to Churchill, Manitoba, known as the polar bear capital of the world.

At a cost of $2,499, the round trip includes a guided tour aboard a Tundra Buggy, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Joshua Gale, President of Gold Star Canadian Tours, tells the Sam Laprade Show they launched the tour so more Canadians would have an opportunity to visit Churchill.

“We have been doing tours in the Churchill area for decades, but one of the things we identified was that a lot of people that actually lived in Canada have a real tough time making their way up to Churchill in a convenient fashion,” Gale said.

The expedition departing from Ottawa is set to happen on November 11, 2023, and according to Gale, spots fill up fast.
