Police investigating second fatal shooting in Carlington area

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting death of 19-year-old man that occurred last evening in the Carlington area.
It’s the second fatal shooting in the area in the last two days.
This latest incident took place just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday evening in the 1500 block of Caldwell Avenue.
The victim has been identified as is Zachary Tiglik of Ottawa. There is no suspect description available at this time.
The Homicide Unit does not believe that there is a link between this incident and the one earlier this week that took place on Raven Avenue when Michael Quattrocchi of Ottawa died on Wednesday evening
Investigators would like to speak with persons who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
