Environment Canada’s severe thunderstorm warning for Ottawa has ended.

It is one of two advisories the weather agency issued today as the capital remains under a severe thunderstorm watch.

Environment Canada said the weather conditions are able to produce wind gusts up to 90 km/h.

Locations impacted include: Ottawa, Gatineau, Fitzroy Provincial Park, Constance Bay and Dunrobin.

The weather agency said the capital is expected to receive anywhere between 30 millimetres (mm) to 50 mm of rain this afternoon and into this evening.
