Drug trafficking investigation in Pembroke leads to charges against two people

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges against two people following an investigation into drug trafficking in Renfrew.
Sherra White, 48, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine- two counts
- Unauthorized possession of weapon- two counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada- two counts
- Unlawfully at large
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
White was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
Brian Wallace, 30, was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada
Wallace is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Feb. 7, 2024.
