Police are investigating several outdoor fires set at a school in a township west of the capital.

Killaloe Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said they responded to the incidents that happened near a school on Peter Street in the township of Madawaska Valley.

Police said they found evidence that small fires were set near a gazebo and play areas.

While police said that the fires didn’t cause significant damage, they are asking the public for help in finding out who was involved.

OPP are asking anyone with information to call the Killaloe OPP Detachment at 613-757-2600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
