Grenville OPP arrest drunk driver on Hwy. 416

Provincial police have arrested another impaired driver on Highway 416 south of the capital, the third in four shifts according to an OPP officer.

OPP said that they received a call just after 1 a.m. on Sunday about a driver that reportedly hit a guardrail and continued driving.

Police said they located and pulled the driver over.

The accused was charged with impaired driving, failing to provide a sample, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to remain.

Police have not released the suspect’s name.
