July kicking off with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures for Ottawa

It’s perfect summer weather to kick off the month of July in the National Capital Region.

The first week of July is bringing plenty of sunshine and hot temperatures, with very little precipitation.

Monday will see nothing but sunshine with a high 27 C and a humidex of 30, with even hotter weather expected for Wednesday.

At this point, there is no chance of rain until the weekend, with Environment Canada calling for showers on Saturday.

  • Wednesday: Clearing in the morning. High 29. Humidex 34.

  • Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 28.
