Beginning Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m., Highway 417 will close in both directions through a busy stretch of Ottawa.

The highway is scheduled to reopen to regular traffic by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 29.

During this time, detours are in place helping get drivers across the city on their weekend travels. See those details here.

While traffic may be interrupted, those interested in seeing the progress of the bridge replacement can take in all the action 24/7.
