Unlicenced driver charged with stunt driving on Highway 416

A driver was clocked going 164 km/h in a 110km/h zone on Highway 416.

One person is facing charges after being stopped for speeding in North Grenville.

According to Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a driver was clocked going 164 km/h in a 110km/h zone on Highway 416.

The OPP say the driver sped right past a fully marked police cruiser.

The vehicle was impounded for 14 days and police say it was discovered the driver didn’t have a valid licence.

The person was charged with stunt driving and for driving without a valid licence.
